Music & History Festival at Fontfroide
25 minutes from the campsite
#July 15 to 19

As its name suggests, this festival in the heart of Fontfroide Abbey combines music and history for concerts and conferences, with the exceptional presence of Edgar Morin on July 17 and 19 at 6:40 pm. Led by conductor Jordi Savall, this festival could not have chosen a better venue than the magnificent Cistercian abbey and its superb gardens to host these medieval and Renaissance melodies. If you love classical music, this is the event for you! As for the simply curious, it’s highly likely that they too will let themselves be bewitched by the charm of the place and by the notes of these talented musicians who will be sounding just a few kilometers from our campsite in the Aude.

The festival Barques en scène is another free music event not to be missed on your camping vacation near Narbonne . Three days of festivities await you, with three renowned artists set to thrill you in a series of high-octane concerts. Young Hoshi, with her unmistakable voice, will kick off the festivities on August 22, followed by Maître Gims (or just Gims, as he prefers to be called from now on) the next day. On August 23, the man in the dark glasses, with millions of albums sold, will get the young and old up and dancing in a concert they’re not likely to forget.
